Objective To analyze the application effect of carotid ultrasound combined with transcranial Doppler in the diagnosis of transient ischemic attack.Methods A total of 100 patients with suspected transient ischemic attack admitted to Chifeng Songshan Hospital from May to December 2022 were selected as the re-search objects.All patients were diagnosed by carotid ultrasound combined with transcranial Doppler,and cere-bral angiography was used as the gold standard.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of carotid ultrasound combined with transcranial Doppler were analyzed.Results Cerebral angiography detected positive in 80 cases,negative in 20 cases.The sensitivity,accuracy and specificity of carotid ultrasound combined with transcranial Doppler diagnosis were 98.75%(79/80),98.00%(98/100)and 95.00%(19/20),respectively,which were highly consistent with the results of cerebral angiography(kappa=0.938).Conclusion The combination of transcranial Doppler and carotid ultrasound can clearly show the hemodynamic status of carotid artery and basilar artery,which is convenient for doctors to judge the lesions of carotid stenosis and intimal thickening.
