3D/2D vascular registration refers to the spatial and temporal alignment of vascular images in different modalities through specific registration algorithms.This is a major breakthrough in the field of medical imaging to achieve complementary advantages from different modality images.2D image data are mainly ob-tained by invasive angiography,and 3D images are mainly obtained from CT,MRI,and ultrasound.3D/2D vas-cular registration can fuse the vascular anatomy and intraluminal information obtained by the different imaging techniques,providing an important information for the development of surgical strategy and Intraoperative local-ization.In clinical surgery,3D/2D vascular registration is mainly applied in the field of vascular interventional therapy and tumor resection.This review will discuss the research progress and clinical application of 3D/2D vascular registration.
