Effect of"Five Flavors Manna"Tibetan Medicinal Bath on Pain Relief and Inflammation In-dexes in Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients
Objective To investigate the effects of"five flavors manna"Tibetan medicinal bath on pain re-lief and inflammation indexes in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.Methods Clinical data of 60 patients with rheumatoid arthritis treated in Bailang County Health Service Center of Shigatse from April 2022 to April 2024 were retrospectively selected.They were divided into two groups according to different treatment methods,with 30 cases in each group.The Western medicine group received diclofenac sodium treatment,and the combined group received"five flavors manna"Tibetan medicine bath treatment.The pain level,inflammatory factors and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the levels of C-reactive protein,tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-6 and pain degree in combination group were lower than those in Western medicine group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The scores of joint arthralgia was(2.17±0.36)points,joint edema was(2.46±0.27)points,joint clonus was(2.35±0.44)points and limb weight was(2.66±0.10)points of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score in the com-bined group were significantly lower than those in the Western medicine group of(3.25±0.19)points,(3.13±0.29)points,(3.17±0.13)points,(3.54±0.21)points,the differences were statistically significant(t=14.532,9.262,9.789,20.723,all P<0.05).Conclusion The"five flavored Manna"Tibetan medicinal bath can reduce the inflammatory indexes of rheumatoid arthritis patients,relieve the pain,and improve the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome,indicating that it has a certain auxiliary efficacy in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
