Application of soil element geochemical survey in the exploration of uranium-polymetallic deposits in Zhangling section
The 1∶10 000 soil element geochemical survey and anomaly verification were carried out in Qingzhangshan area of northern Guangdong province. The content of 13 elements Li,W,Cu,As,Zn,Rb,Sn,Bi,Nb,Ta,Pb,Th and U,as well as their distribution and combination characteristics, were basically identified in the target sector.By comprehensive analysis of the geological conditions and geochemical information, the main mineralzed elements in this area were U,Pb and Zn,which have strong differentiation, obvious distribution and good correlation.Three valuable geochemical anomalies were delineated.Through the analysis of soil element geochemical survey and metallogenic geological conditions in Zhangling section, the metallogenic propects were predicted, which provides the prospecting direction and favorable target for the next prospecting work in the area.
