The security of uranium resource demand under the new development situation of nuclear energy in China
Uranium resources are important strategic resources and energy minerals,and the food for the development of the nuclear industry.With the large-scale development of nuclear energy in China,the safety and security of uranium resources have become an increasingly important issue for the industry.This article analyzed the development trend of nuclear energy at home and abroad and its demand for uranium resources,elaborated the basic situation and development prospects of uranium resources at home and abroad,and proposed safeguard measures on how to ensure the security of China·s uranium resources from the aspects of technological innovation,exploration technology breakthroughs,and strengthening overseas uranium resource exploration and development.The main measure was suggested to further accelerate the breakthrough process of domestic uranium resources,strengthen overseas uranium resource exploration and mining efforts,actively promote the commercialization of integrated fast reactors,significantly improve the utilization rate of uranium resources,and ensure the safety of uranium resource supply.
