In-situ uranium mines Xinjiang not only provide important raw material support for the national nuclear energy industry, but also promote the development of local economy.In-situ leaching uranium technology has obvious environmental advantages over traditional mining because of its differences in mining and metallurgy process, which can greatly reduce surface damage and reduce the amount of waste water and waste gas production. However, there are still some shortcomings that can not be ignored, the long-term mining activities have caused some impact on the local ecological environment. One of the most important environmental problems is the potential influence of groundwater. Therefore,it is not only of great practical significance, but also particularly urgent to evaluate the environmental protection status of uranium mine in Xinjiang and analyze the existing problems. This article studied two typical acid leaching uranium mines in Xinjiang.Based on on-site investigation, sampling analysis, and data analysis, the radioactive pollution situation in the surrounding environment was investigated and analyzed, and the quality of the radiation environment was evaluated. The results indicate that the overall radiation environment quality of typical uranium leaching mines in Xinjiang is good, and no obvious radiation environmental problems have been arised.
