Analysis on the application effect of UAV aeromagnetic survey in Kongquehe monoclinal area
UAV aeromagnetics is a new high efficiency and low cost geophysical exploration method developed in recent years, which has been preliminarily applied in the field of uranium exploration. In order to evaluate the applicability of UAV aeromagnetic method in sandstone-hosted uranium prospecting and its detection effect difference to traditional ground-base high precision magnetic method, the field data acquisition, data processing, result interpretation and detection efficiency were compared between UAV aeromagnetic method and ground-base high precision magnetic survey in Kongquhe monoclinal area of Tarim Basin. The field results show that the magnetic anomalies of UAV survey and ground survey are highly similar, and their characteristics are basically the same as those of the reduct-to-pole geomagnetic anomaly after 200 m upward continuation process, but the anomaly is more smooth without the influence of superficial human interference.Although the anomaly amplitude of UAV aeromagnetic field is relatively small,it can also reflect weak magnetic information as small as several nanoteslas, which can be used for small anomaly detection. The fault structure, hidden pluton and stratigraphic characteristics of Kongquhe monoclinal area are interpreted by both UAV aeromagnetic survey and ground-base high precision magnetic survey. It was concluded that the Mesozoic and Cenozoic strata in this area still maintained the monoclene characteristics, and the small local anomalies may reflect the changes of shallow reoxidation and reduction environment. In addition to the detection effect,UAV aeromagnetic detection efficiency was also high.It is considered that UAV aeromagnetic detection can be used as a substitute for high-precision ground-base magnetic survey for uranium prospecting in sandstone area and will be the development direction in future.
