Digital trade,as a new form of trade integration of digital technology,is a propeller for the high-quality development of China's economy and the construction of a unified large market.Based on the data of 272 prefecture-level cities in China from 2009 to 2021,this paper makes an empiri-cal study of the relationship between digital trade and unified big market and its impact transmission mechanism. The results show that,firstly,dig-ital trade has a"U-shaped"influence on the construction of unified large market, which is inhibited first and promoted later, and this relationship still exists after a series of robustness tests.Secondly, digital trade promotes the construction of a unified large market through logistics channels, but enterprise efficiency channels inhibit the construction of a unified large market due to monopoly.Thirdly, the level of openness has a positive moderating effect on digital trade to promote the construction of a unified large market. The expansion analysis shows that digital trade plays a stron-ger role in promoting the construction of a unified big market in the central and western regions, and plays a role in balancing regional development; In addition,in cities with high economic development level, large urban scale, perfect digital infrastructure construction and high digital trade de-velopment level, digital trade has a more significant"U-shaped"impact on the construction of a unified large market. The research in this paper is helpful to promote market integration from the perspective of digital trade, accelerate the process of building a unified large market, and explore a new engine for the sustained and high-quality development of China's economy.Based on this,it proposes to improve the market rules of digital trade and promote fair competition.Expand high-level opening up and form a"competition and cooperation"effect; We will strengthen the con-struction of new infrastructure and improve the development level of digital trade to promote the construction of a unified large market.
