In view of the current phenomenon of rapid disappearance of traditional houses in the Honghe Hani Rice Terraces World Heritage Site,this paper starts from the perspective of vernacular architectural heritage protection and conducts an in-depth analysis of the difficulties faced by the protection of traditional dwellings on the basis of a systematic analysis of the characteristics of Hani traditional houses.It proposes a"localized"protection and renewal mechanism under the dual orientation of"micro-intervention"and"localization",and combines the team's residential renovation practice in the Azheke Village to explore this issue from two aspects of organizational form and renewal methods.The implementation path of the mechanism is expected to provide a reference for the current integrity protection,revitalization,utilization and renewal of traditional residential buildings.
