Axonometric projection achieved great theoretical development in Europe in the 19th century,and Auguste Choisy,as a representative figure who applied it to architectural expression,played an important role in guiding the formation of some architectural structure theories with his characteristic"worm's-eye axonometric projections".Therefore,this paper will sort out the history of the development of axonometric projection in the 19th century,and discuss the characteristics,causes and development of Choisy's axonometric drawings,in order to analyse the influence of his drawings on the current and future generations of architectural history research and architectural design expression.
