Research and Enlightenment on the Governance of Disruptive Technological Innovation:A Case Study of the Construction Mode of UK Advanced Research and Invention Agency
In order to consolidate its position as a global scientific superpower,the UK has introduced relevant laws and policies since 2022 to support the establishment of the UK Advanced Research and Invention Agency(ARIA)and its governance as a statutory body.This paper first analyses the latest progress of ARIA by analyzing its relevant laws and policy initiatives;then analyses the differences between ARIA and the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and the UK Research and Innovation Agency;and finally,puts forward suggestions such as exploring the establishment of a statutory body to support the development of disruptive technologies and strengthening the governance capacity of nonconventional science,technology,and innovation activities of innovation subjects.
