Research Progress in Validation of Remote Sensing Products for Forest Aboveground Biomass
Obtaining accurate quality information of forest aboveground biomass(AGB)remote sensing products through the validation is crucial for enhancing product accuracy and quality and for ensuring proper use of the products and expanding their scope of application.The increased number of satellites collecting data on forest ecosystem structure parameters leads to the emergence of more forest AGB products,and it is therefore increasingly vital to have high-precision products and reliable quality information.This paper reviews the research progress of the validation of forest AGB remote sensing products from the aspects of collection and quality control of reference data as well as validation's methods,indicators,tools and reports,and discusses key areas in the further research that need to be enhanced,with the aim to provide ideas for further improving the accuracy and reliability of the validation of forest AGB remote sensing products.
