A one-year field efficacy trial of sulfoxaflor 22%SC in three locations and indoor safety tests on asparagus were conducted.The results showed that the sulfoxaflor 22%SC,when applied at effective ingredient doses of 54,72,and 90 g/ha,demonstrated excellent control effects,rapid action,and persistence against asparagus aphids.At 3,7,and 14 days after treatment,the control effects ranged from 65.1%-95.9%,70.0%-98.4%,and 61.2%-97.7%,respectively,and the growth of asparagus was safe.It is recommended that sulfoxaflor 22%SC be used for the control of asparagus aphids,with a recommended dosage of the effective ingredient at 54-90 g/hm²,applied once at the early stage of aphid occurrence.
