In order to test and evaluate the indoor and field effects of cyproflanilide on Chilo suppressalis in resistant areas and provide a scientific basis for the chemical control of C.suppressalis, cyproflanilide, chlorantraniliprole and abamectin were used as test agents. The activity of cyproflanilide on 12 sites in three provinces was tested by the rice stem dipping method indoors, and the control effect was tested in three sites in three provinces by the spraying method in the field. The results showed that compared with the sensitive population of C.suppressalis, the LC50 of cyproflanilide against C.suppressalis was 0.332-0.897 mg/L,and the resistance ratio was 1.6-4.2;the LC50 of chlorantraniliprole was 62.407->500 mg/L,and the resistance ratio was 14.2->114.1;the LC50 of abamectin was 0.887-29.561 mg/L,and the resistance ratio was 4.4-145.6.When cyproflanilide 20%SC was uniformly sprayed at a dose of 30-60 g/ha,the field control effect on C.suppressalis was 81.54%-98.60%at 21 days after treatment. The control efficacy of chlorantraniliprole 200 g/L SC at a dosage of 30 g/ha was 14.01%-39.24%,and the control efficacy of abamectin 5%EC at a dosage of 150 g/ha was 80.47%-97.68%.Cyproflanilide has excellent and stable activity against C.suppressalis in different regions. At the dosage of 60 g/ha,the control efficiency against rice C.suppressalis with different resistances was above 90%at 21 days after the application.Cyproflanilide has no cross-resistance with chlorantraniliprole and abamectin. In terms of chemical control of resistant C.suppressalis, cyproflanilide is an ideal product to replace chlorantraniliprole and abamectin, and has good application value.
