Chirality is widespread in nature,and organisms have a precise ability to recognize the chirality of drugs.The enantioselective interactions between chiral pesticides and biomolecules can result in different biological properties.The development of highly active and safe optically pure chiral pesticides is an important direction for green pesticide innovation and research.This article summarizes the application of N-heterocyclic carbene(NHC)catalysis in the synthesis of biologically active chiral molecules for pesticides and discusses the potential value of these chiral molecules in the agricultural field,particularly in terms of antibacterial and antiviral applications.
