Current status and prospect on treatment process of indium-containing dust
Indium-containing dust is not only one of the solid wastes generated by the metal smelting process, including zinc, potassium, aluminum, iron, indium, lead, cadmium and other metals, but also an important raw material for the recovery of rare metal indium. In view of such problems as serious dispersion loss, low recovery rate and difficult treatment, etc.existing in the process of indium-containing dust recovery of indium at this stage, the whole process of indium-containing dust recovery of indium is taken as the main line, and the common technologies and such processes as fire pretreatment, wet leaching, preconcentration separation, etc.in the process of indium-containing dust treatment are compared and analyzed to explore the unique mechanism and treatment process of different processes, discuss the characteristics and limitations of different processes, and point out the problems existing in the industrial production of each process at this stage. The technical progress of indium wet leaching, preconcentration separation and extraction is reviewed, and based on the treatment goals and development trends of"harmlessness, reduction and recycling"of industrial dust treatment at this stage,a new idea on comprehensive recovery and treatment of indium-containing dust in the future is proposed, which provides references for the recovery of high value-added elements such as indium in indium-containing dust.
