Distribution law of solid fuel in sintering process of ultra-thick bed of material
Solid fuel is used as the main heat source for iron ore sintering, and its efficient heat utilization is of great significance for sintering energy conservation and emission reduction. The distribution characteristics of solid fuel in the bed of material under the condition of sintering of ultra-thick bed of material are focused on,and the distribution law in the direction of the width of the mud roller and the height of the bed of material is analyzed systematically. The results show that the particle size of the overall compound is thinner in the middle and slightly coarse on both sides along the width of the mud roller, while the carbon content is higher in the middle and slightly lower on both sides. After the material is placed, the particle size composition and carbon content of the compound in the width direction of the trolley are consistent with the compound at the corresponding position of the mud roller. In the direction of the height of the bed of material, the particle size of the compound from top to bottom shows an increasing trend as a whole, and the carbon content gradually decreases.Due to the limited degree of segregation of the mud roller and the nine-roller material, the particle size and carbon content will fluctuate at some heights. The fuel distribution along the height of the bed of material is calculated by using the particle size composition of the compound in the height direction of the trolley and the carbon content of each particle grade at the blanking of the mud roller, which is basically consistent with the actual law.The results can provide guidance for the optimal distribution of solid fuel in the sintering process of ultra-thick bed of material.
