Analysis of low temperature reduction pulverization of fluxed pellets
The application of flux pellets is an effective way to reduce the cost and increase the iron output,it is necessary to study the reduction behavior of fusible pellets in the blast furnace. This paper focuses on the analysis of low-temperature pulverization of two types of flux pellets. After experimental testing, the RDI>3.15 mm of 1# and 2# pellet are only 75.59%and 81.74%respectivey.Which is poor of the pulverization performance. The proportion of internal pores in the two pellets is 54.31%and 56.46%respectively.Many internal slag phases exist in the pellets, which affect the hematite joined crystal. The calculation results show that the initial melting temperature of slag phase in the two pellets during roasting is lower, which is 999.7 ℃ and 1 046.8 ℃ respectively. And the amount of slag in pellets is large, which is 24.2 g and 21.3 g respectively, the internal structure of the pellets is loose, and the pulverization performance is poor. The analysis shows that in production, the formation of slag phase, slag phase composition, and slag phase viscosity can be controlled by strengthening mixing and adjusting the composition of gangue, which can improve its low-temperature reduction pulverization index.
