China in the New Era Having Made Important Contributions to Addressing the Global Challenges of the 21st Century
China has made positive contributions to coping with and resolving multiple global challenges in the 21st century.On the convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,it is of positive significance to review and look forward to China's major achievements in modernization,especially the Chinese solutions put forward to cope with global challenges in the past decade.The Communist Party of China has led the Chinese people in embarking on a new journey of Chinese--style modernization,and its outstanding contributions are embodied in three aspects.First,it takes the initiative to respond to the unprecedented new challenges facing human society,becoming a model for the world in the fight against COVID-19 epidemic and a leader in coping with the global climate change.Second,it has set an example for poverty alleviation for all mankind and for achieving the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals,and has promoted the realization of the goal of common prosperity.Third,it actively participates in building the global governance system and maintaining a fair and just international order,advocates true multilateralism and opposes the hegemonic actions of the United States.
