Correctly Understanding Lenin's Thought on the Relationship between Proletarian Dictatorship and Socialist Rule of Law-Refuting an Erroneous View that Distorts Lenin's Legal Thought
For a while,some people have attempted to deny the people's democratic dictatorship of China,and establish so-called"constitutionalism"in China.They distort some of Lenin's words,slandering his advocacy of the dictatorship of the proletariat as a"lawless tyranny"that is"not subject to any legal constraints".In fact,this view has no factual basis.After establishing a state with the dictatorship of the proletariat,the ruling party needs to lead the people to formulate the constitution and laws to establish and consolidate the achievements of the revolution;in the meantime,it needs to adhere to the rule of law at all fronts,promote the institutionalization of socialist democracy and the rule of law,and maintain social stability and long-lasting national security.Since the CPC's leadership is the soul of socialist rule of law and its most fundamental guarantee,we must unswervingly uphold the Party's leadership over the rule of law to provide a solid legal guarantee for China's modernization and national prosperity.
