A Study of the Important Issues concerning Mao Zedong Thought on the National United Front against the Japanese Invasion
One of the prominent manifestations of historical nihilism that negates the history of the Communist Party of China is its interpretation of the Party history within the framework of"power struggle".Some works deliberately make use of the similarities and differences between Mao Zedong and Wang Ming in their understanding of the united front to create ill-grounded conjectures that have seriously damaged the image of the CPC and Mao Zedong.Explicating the formation and development of Mao Zedong's thought on the National United Front against the Japanese Invasion and its differences from Wang Ming's erroneous line based on historical facts, original texts and archival materials will help us clarify facts and restore truth, thus refuting such erroneous accusations as"false support","undermining the united front"and"self-contradictions".
