Enhancing the Leading Role of State-Owned Enterprises in the Development of China's Digital Economy—Reflections Based on an Understanding of the Characteristics of Digital Capital
In promoting high-quality development of China's digital economy,a key practical issue is how to reasonably and effectively utilize digital capital.Due to digital capital's characteristics such as duality and complexity,it is essential to strengthen the leading role of state-owned enterprises(SOEs)in China's digital economy if we are to better utilize digital capital to meet the requirements of socialist production and development.State-owned enterprises are not only the"ballast stone"for the development of the digital economy in a socialist country,but also possess unique advantages and a critical position in digital innovation and industrial development.They should become the"leading geese"in the advancement of China's digital economy.To achieve this,it is necessary to accelerate the digital transformation of state-owned enterprises,enhance their international competitiveness,and focus on building a digital innovation system and industrial ecosystem led by SOEs.
