Technological monopoly in the global economic system is the result of the contradictory movement between the development of productive forces on a global scale and the pursuit of excess profit by international monopoly capital.In the process of power construction in technological monopoly,multinational corporations from developed Western countries leverage their monopolistic control over technology-centered knowledge resources to dominate key nodes of production and distribution.They maintain an unequal power structure by reinforcing the dependency relationships of subordinate enterprises and nations.In recent years,some developing countries have begun to challenge this existing power structure in their quest to alter their subordinate status.In response,Western countries have sought to maintain their technological monopoly by suppressing the technological development of these nations,undermining the collaborative relationships within global industrial chains,obstructing scientific and technological cooperation,and exacerbating global social contradictions and conflicts.To break through the technological monopoly of the United States and the West,China must effectively utilize its national power to lead the new technological revolution,harness the positive role of technology as production factor,and proactively guide international technological cooperation.
