Objective:To explore the effects of rehabilitation intervention based on cross-theoretical model on sleep quality, bad mood and quality of life in patients undergoing acute appendicitis surgery. Methods:A total of 120 patients who received surgical treatment for acute appendicitis in Quanzhou First Hospital from August 2021 to April 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into the observation group(n=60,receiving rehabilitation intervention based on cross-theoretical model)and the control group(n=60,receiving routine perioperative intervention)according to random number table method. The differences of sleep quality, bad mood and quality of life before and after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results:There was no significant difference between the two groups before nursing and the control group in all dimensions and total scores of Pitts-burgh Sleep Quality Index,Self-rating Anxiety Scale and Self-rating Depression Scale(Ps>0.05).After nursing, the scores of sleep-related indexes and negative emotion-related indexes of the two groups were lower than those of the control group(Ps<0.05).The scores of related indexes of quality of life after nursing in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and there was statistical significance(Ps<0.05).Conclusion:Rehabilitation intervention based on cross-theoretical model for patients undergoing acute appendicitis surgery is helpful to improve the sleep quality of patients. At the same time, the imple-mentation of such nursing measures also alleviates the emotional problems of patients to a large extent, alleviates the negative emo-tions of patients such as anxiety and depression, improves the quality of life of patients as a whole, and has clinical promotion value.
