The Effects of Ultrasound-guided Brachial Plexus Combined with Cervical Plexus Block Combined with General Anesthesia on Short-term Cognitive Function and Sleep Quality in Patients with Clavicle Fractures after Surgery
Objective:To analyze the effects of ultrasound-guided brachial plexus combined with cervical plexus block combined with general anesthesia on short-term cognitive function and sleep quality in patients with clavicle fractures after surgery. Methods:A total of 80 patients with clavicle fractures admitted to the Fuqing Second Hospital in Fujian Province from March 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received simple general anesthesia in-tervention,while the observation group received ultrasound block combined with general anesthesia intervention. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the changes in sleep quality between two groups of patients before and after in-tervention.The Mini-mental State Examination(MMSE)was used to compare the cognitive function of the two groups of patients, and the anesthesia rates of the two groups of patients were compared. Results:After intervention, the excellent anesthesia rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group. The MMSE scores of the observation group were high-er than those of the control group on the 1st and 3rd day after surgery. The PSQI scores of the observation group patients on the 5th day after surgery were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the differences between the two groups were sta-tistically significant(Ps<0.05).Conclusion:The anesthesia effect of ultrasound-guided brachial plexus combined with cervical plexus nerve block combined with general anesthesia is ideal for patients with clavicle fractures, which can reduce the impact on short-term cognitive function and improve postoperative sleep status. It is worth promoting and applying.
