Objective:To analyze the application effect of PDCA cycle mode on improving sleep quality in patients undergoing en-doscopic tumor resection.Methods:A total of 120 tumor resection patients admitted to the Digestive Endoscopy Center of Quanzhou First Hospital of Fujian Province from June 2020 to June 2022 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group(n=60)and an observation group(n=60)using a random number table method.The control group received routine nursing intervention,while the observation group received targeted PDCA cycle nursing on the basis of the control group.The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the differences in sleep quality between two groups of pa-tients.The Visual Analog Scale(VAS)was used to compare the pain sensation of the two groups of patients before and after inter-vention.The MOS 36-item Short-form Health Survey(SF-36)was used to compare the quality of life of the two groups of patients,and the nursing satisfaction of the two groups of patients was compared.Results:After intervention,the PSQI score and VAS score of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group,the SF-36 score of the observation group was sig-nificantly higher than that of the control group,and the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(Ps＜0.05).Conclusion:Implemen-ting PDCA cycle nursing for patients undergoing endoscopic resection of digestive tumors can effectively improve their sleep quali-ty,reduce postoperative pain,improve their quality of life,and achieve high nursing satisfaction.It is worth promoting in clinical practice.
