Objective:To analyze the intervention value of ear point embedding beans with massage in post stroke constipation nursing, and its impact on patients'sleep quality. Methods:A total of 80 patients with stroke constipation admitted in our hospital from January 2022 to June 2023 were taken as this observation objects, and were divided by random method(digital table meth-od),with 40 patients in each group. The observation group received ear point embedding beans combined with massage, while the control group received routine nursing. The defecation status(first defecation time, defecation duration, defecation interval time)of the two groups after intervention was compared, and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),Modified Barthel Index(Barthel Index),Sleep Disorder Assessment Scale, and traditional Chinese medicine sleep syndrome score(insomnia, difficulty falling a-sleep,and early morning awakening)were analyzed before and after intervention. Results:Comparing the defecation status be-tween the observation group and the control group after intervention,it can be seen that the observation group has a shorter time, and the difference is statistically significant(Ps<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in PSQI,Barthel index, sleep disorder assessment scale, and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score between the observation group and the control group before intervention(Ps>0.05).After intervention, the analysis of the above indicators between the observation group and the control group showed that the improvement effect of the former was better than that of the latter, with a statistically significant difference(Ps<0.05).Conclusion:Combining ear point embedding beans with massage intervention for post-stroke constipation patients can effectively alleviate their constipation symptoms, shorten defecation time, and improve sleep quality and quality of life after intervention compared to routine nursing. It is worth promoting and applying.
