Objective:To explore the intervention value of free body position and painless suggestion nursing during the nursing period for women with full-term painless delivery. Methods:A total of 86 full-term painless delivery mothers admitted to the Southern Hospital of Fujian Provincial Hospital from June 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 43 cases in each group, using a random number table meth-od.The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received free position combined with painless sugges-tion nursing. The nursing effects of the two groups were compared, with evaluation indicators including labor process time, the rate of conversion from vaginal delivery to cesarean section, and sleep quality. Results:The measurement of labor process in two groups of parturients showed that the observation group had shorter first, second, and third stages of labor,as well as shorter total labor process time.Compared with the control group, the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).Compared with the con-trol group, the observation group had a lower incidence of risk events such as the rate of conversion from vaginal delivery to cesar-ean section, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After surgery, the sleep quality of two groups of parturients was evaluated. The values of various indicators in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(Ps<0.05).Conclusion:Providing free position and painless suggestion nursing to postpartum women who have given full-term painless delivery can shorten the delivery process, improve sleep quality, reduce the incidence of cesarean section and risk events.
