Objective:To analyze the current status of sleep snoring in preschool children and its impact on life function. Methods:A total of 40 children aged 3 to 7 who met the pre-school age conditions and had sleep apnea were included in the observation group(n=40)and 40 healthy children of the same age group who participated in health examinations were in-cluded in the control group(n=40)from January 2022 to December 2024.Observe the snoring situation in two groups and con-duct factor analysis, while exploring the impact of snoring on children's life function. Results:Compared with the control group, the observation group had a higher snoring rate, frequent snoring rate, sleep apnea rate(Ps<0.05),and a higher incidence of symptoms such as sweating, oral breathing, chronic cough, and decreased body mass(Ps<0.05).The observation group also had lower Barthel index and motor function score(Ps<0.05).The results of multiple regression analysis showed that gender, the presence of at least one smoker at home,long-term exposure to pillows or plush toys, allergic rhinitis/tonsillitis/tonsillar hypertro-phy,and obesity are all risk factors for sleep in preschool children. Conclusion:The incidence of sleep snoring in preschool boys aged 3 to 7 is relatively high.Parents need to pay attention to their snoring frequency, correct their snoring by controlling their diet appropriately, paying attention to allergic rhinitis and other diseases in a timely manner, reducing smoking behavior in the family, and creating a prerequisite for the healthy growth and development of children.
