Objective:To explore the effect of cluster intervention mode in ICU patient care. Methods:A total of 64 ICU patients admitted to the People's Hospital Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the main subjects. They were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 32 cases in each group. The nursing method carried out by the observation group was cluster intervention mode, while the control group only implemented routine nursing. The psychological state and sleep of the patients were assessed at two time points before and after nursing, and the psychological state and sleep scores of the patients before and after nursing were compared and analyzed to investigate and analyze the patients'satisfaction with nursing work. Results:After nursing, the anxiety and depression mood of the 2 groups were improved and the scores were lower than before nursing, and the scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, with statistical significance(Ps<0.05).The score of sleep quality after nursing was lower than before nursing, and the score of sleep quality after nursing in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(Ps<0.05).The satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, which had statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:The implementation of cluster intervention mode in ICU patients with severe illness is more conducive to improving their psychological state and sleep quality, with higher patient satisfaction, and can improve the quality of life of patients as a whole, which has very important practical significance for patients. Therefore, cluster intervention is worthy of further promo-tion and application in clinical practice.
