Objective:To investigate the effect of perioperative pain nursing in patients with urinary calculi. Methods:A total of 90 patients with urinary calculi admitted to the Chengdong Branch of Quanzhou First Hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 45 cases in each group, using a random number table method. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received rou-tine nursing and pain nursing.Relevant indicators such as emotional state and pain degree were evaluated at two time points before and after nursing, and the pain degree, sleep quality, anxiety level, and quality of life of the two groups of patients before and after nursing were compared and analyzed. Results:There was no statistical significance in the comparison of pain degree, anxiety de-gree,sleep quality and quality of life between the two groups before nursing, while the indexes of the two groups after nursing were improved compared with those before nursing. The comparison between the two groups after nursing suggested that the Numerical Rating Scale(NRS),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the Quality of Life(QOL)scores were higher than those of the control group. There was statistical significance. Conclusion:Pain nursing in perioperative nursing of patients with urinary calculi can not only alleviate the pain of patients, but also relieve their anxiety, and improve the sleep quality and quality of life of patients as a whole, which is worth promoting in clinical practice.
