Objective:To analyze the application value of interactive health education under the Teach back mode in pain and sleep quality after hip replacement surgery.Methods:A total of 80 patients who underwent hip replacement surgery in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research subjects,and were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 40 patients in each group.The control group patients received positional nursing intervention,while the observation group received interactive health education intervention in the Teach back mode on the basis of the control group.Both groups of patients received intervention until discharge.Compare the hip joint function score(Harris),daily living ability score(ADL),and Self-rating Sleep Status Scale(SRSS)scores of two groups of patients before and 3 months after intervention,and ob-serve and compare the incidence of complications.Results:On the 1st,3rd,and 7th day after surgery,there was no statistically significant difference in visual analogue scale(VAS)scores between the two groups of patients(Ps>0.05).Before discharge,the observation group had a higher disease cognition score than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications(pressure ulcers,joint dislocation,joint infection)in the observation group was not statistically significant compared to the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:Interactive health education in the Teach back mode can improve hip joint function and daily living ability of patients after hip replacement surgery,and improve their sleep quality.
