Analysis of the Application Effect of High-quality Nursing on the Nursing of Patients with Spinal Compression Fractures Undergoing Percutaneous Minimally Invasive Surgery and Its Impact on Sleep Quality
Objective:To analyze the application effect of high-quality nursing on the nursing of patients with spinal compression fractures undergoing percutaneous minimally invasive surgery and its impact on sleep quality. Methods:A total of 110 patients ad-mitted to the Orthopedics Department of Xiamen University Affiliated First Hospital in Fujian Province from June 2020 to June 2022 due to spinal compression fractures were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 55 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing interventions, while the observation group received high-quality nursing interventions guided by the concept of case manage-ment.The Visual Analog Scale(VAS)was used to compare the pain perception of two groups of patients. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the sleep quality of two groups of patients before and after intervention, and the inci-dence of adverse reactions was compared between the two groups of patients. Results:Before surgery,3 days after surgery, and 1 month after discharge, the VAS and PSQI scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(Ps<0.05).During hospitalization and follow-up,the in-cidence of adverse events in the two groups of patients was similar(P>0.05),and the observation group had a significantly lower rate of refractures than the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclu-sion:Under the guidance of case management philosophy,high-quality nursing for patients with spinal compression fractures un-dergoing minimally invasive surgery can achieve effective pain relief, improve their sleep quality, accelerate their recovery process, and effectively reduce the risk of recurrent fractures. It is recommended to promote clinical application.
