Objective:To analyze the impact of continuous nursing on the sleep status,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),and Asens Insomnia Scale(AIS)scores of patients with peptic ulcer(PU).Methods:A total of 120 PU patients admitted to our hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the study subjects and were randomly divided into groups using the number table method. The observation group consisted of 60 patients who received continuous nursing, while the control group consisted of 60 patients who received routine nursing. The nursing satisfaction of the two groups was analyzed, and the PSQI,AIS scores, and sleep duration before and after nursing were compared. Results:Compared with the nursing satisfaction in the control group, the observation group was higher in the observation group(P<0.05).Before nursing, there was no statistically significant difference in PSQI,AIS score, sleep duration, and time from closing eyes to falling asleep between the two groups of patients(Ps>0.05).After nursing, the improvement of various indicators in the observation group was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(Ps<0.05).Conclusion:Continuous nursing measures can effectively improve sleep quality and prolong sleep time in the treatment of PU patients, which is more helpful in improving nursing satisfaction compared to routine nursing measures and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
