Objective:To study the effect of self-role identity care combined with self-relaxation music therapy on recovering schizophrenic patients.Methods:Seventy patients with recovering schizophrenia admitted to Nan'an Rehabilitation Hospital from May 2020 to May 2022 were selected and grouped into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method,with 35 cases in each group.Self-relaxation music therapy was performed in the control group,while self-role identity care was added in the observation group.The two groups were compared in terms of psychiatric symptoms,sleep quality,social functio-ning and compliance with treatment and care.Results:After the intervention,the scores of Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale(BPRS),Positive Symptom Rating Scale(SAPS),and Negative Symptom Rating Scale(SANS)ratings were lower in the observation group than in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(Ps<0.05).The scores of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality In-dex(PSQI)and Social Functioning Deficit Screening Scale(SDSS)ratings were lower in the observation group than in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(Ps<0.05).The observation group had a higher level of adherence to treatment and care than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Self-role identity care combined with self-relaxation music therapy had a significant effect on improving psychiatric symptoms,sleep quality,and so-cial functioning in recovering schizophrenic patients,and was also effective in increasing adherence to treatment and care.
