Objective:To explore the effect of family participation nursing on treatment compliance,clinical symptoms and sleep quality of patients with schizophrenia.Methods:A total of 100 schizophrenic patients who were treated in the Quanzhou Third Hospital of from July 2020 to September 2022 were selected as the research objects,and were randomly divided into the observa-tion group(n=50,adding family participation nursing on the basis of routine nursing)and the control group(n=50,simply re-ceiving routine nursing)by rolling dice.The intervention compliance,Nurses'Observation Scale for Inpatient Evaluation(NOSIE)score,Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale(PANSS)score and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)score of the two groups were compared.Results:There was no significant difference in the compliance rate,NOSIE score,PANSS score and PSQI score between the two groups before treatment(Ps＞0.05).After treatment,the complete compliance rate of the observation group was 46.00％,which was significantly higher than 20.00％of the control group(P＜0.05).The total positive and total illness dimen-sion scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group,and the total negative dimension score was significantly lower than that of the control group(Ps＜0.05).The PANSS score and PSQI score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group after 8 weeks of treatment(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Family participation nursing for patients with schizophrenia can help to improve the treatment compliance of patients,improve their clinical symptoms,and relieve sleep disorders of patients,which is worthy of clinical application.
