Objective:To investigate the effect of escitalopram combined exercise program on sleep quality of patients with benzo-diazepine(BDZ)-dependent anxiety disorder. Methods:A total of 120 patients with BDZ-dependent anxiety disorder who were ad-mitted to the hospital from September 2021 to February 2023 were selected, and randomly divided into the observation group(62 patients treated with escitalopram combined exercise program)and the control group(58 patients treated with escitalopram alone).Sleep quality, insomnia degree, negative emotions, and quality of life of the two groups were compared. Results:After treatment, the scores for subjective sleep quality, time to fall asleep, sleep efficiency, sleep disorder and daytime function in the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),and total score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(Ps<0.05).The Insomnia Severity Index(ISI)score and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS)score were also lower than those of the conventional group(P<0.05).The MOS 36-item Short-form Health Survey(SF-36)score was higher than that of the convention-al group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Escitalopram combined with exercise program can significantly improve sleep quality, insomnia symptoms, negative emotions, and the quality of life of patients with benzodiazepine-dependent anxiety disorder.
