Objective:To analyze the impact of intraoperative nursing intervention on the sleep quality of patients undergoing e-sophageal cancer radical surgery.Methods:A total of 92 patients with esophageal cancer who underwent radical surgery at Xiamen University Affiliated Zhongshan Hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study subjects.They were ran-domly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 46 cases in each group,using a random number table meth-od.The control group received routine nursing intervention,while the observation group received intraoperative nursing interven-tion.Using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)to compare the changes in sleep quality before and after intervention be-tween two groups of patients,and to compare the nursing satisfaction of the two groups of patients.Results:After intervention,the PSQI score of the observation group patients was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the nursing satisfaction of the observation group patients was significantly higher than that of the control group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(Ps＜0.05).Conclusion:Intraoperative nursing intervention has a good impact on the sleep quality of pa-tients undergoing esophageal cancer radical surgery and can significantly improve their sleep quality.Therefore,it should be vigor-ously promoted in the clinical nursing process.
