Objective:To explore the effect of mindfulness decompression on psychological status and sleep validity of patients with advanced lung cancer. Methods:A total of 75 patients with advanced lung cancer diagnosed and treated in the Quanzhou First Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University from May 2021 to May 2023 were selected for the study and were randomly divided into a control group(35 cases)and an observation group(40 cases). All patients were given targeted treatment. The con-trol group received routine nursing intervention, while the observation group received mindfulness decompression intervention for 4 weeks.Evaluate the psychological status of patients using Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)scales, and observe the sleep duration, sleep latency, wakefulness time, and sleep efficiency of the two groups of patients before and after intervention.Use the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)to evaluate sleep quality. Results:After intervention, the SAS and SDS scores of both groups of patients decreased, and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(Ps<0.05).After intervention, the sleep duration and sleep efficiency of the observation group were higher than those of the con-trol group(Ps<0.05),and the sleep latency was shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in awakening time between the groups(P>0.05).Before intervention, the PSQI scores of the two groups were basically consistent(P>0.05).After intervention, the PSQI scores of both groups decreased(Ps<0.05),and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The intervention of mindfulness decompression in patients with advanced lung cancer can improve their psychology and sleep quality, which is worthy of practice and application.
