Analyzing the Impact of Peplau's Interpersonal Relationship Theory Combined with"5A"Intervention Measures on the Hope Level and Sleep Quality of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Patients
Objective:To analyze the effects of Peplau's interpersonal relationship theory combined with"5A"intervention meas-ures on the hope level and sleep quality of hematopoietic stem cell transplant patients. Methods:A total of 66 patients with hema-topoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT)admitted to Xiamen University Affiliated Zhongshan Hospital in Xiamen,Fujian Prov-ince,from January 2021 to July 2023 were selected as the study subjects.Using a random number table method, they were random-ly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 33 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the observation group received a combination of interpersonal relationship theory and 5 A intervention.Using the Hope Level(HHI)scale to compare the changes in three dimensions of positive attitudes towards reality/future(T),maintaining intimate relationships with others(I),and implementing positive actions(P)between two groups of patients before and after inter-vention.The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the differences in sleep quality between the two groups of patients, the Self Efficacy Scale(GSES)to compare the differences in self-efficacy between two groups of patients before and after intervention, and the Quality-of-Life Scale(QOL)to compare the quality of life between the two groups of patients. Results:After intervention, the observation group had significantly higher scores in positive attitudes towards reality and the future(T),maintai-ning intimate relationships with others(I),implementing positive actions(P),self-efficacy(GSES),and quality of life(QOL)compared to the control group. After intervention, the Pittsburgh sleep quality(PSQI)score was significantly lower than the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Peplau's interpersonal relationship theory and"5 A"intervention measures has a positive effect on improving the hope level of HSCT pa-tients,improving their sleep quality, enhancing their self-efficacy,and enhancing their quality of life.It is worthy of clinical promo-tion and application.
