Objective:To analyze the therapeutic effect of dexamethasone pulse therapy on primary immune thrombocytopenia and its impact on sleep quality.Methods:A total of 120 patients with primary immune thrombocytopenia admitted to the First Hospital of Quanzhou City,Fujian Province from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method,with 60 cases in each group.The con-trol group was treated with traditional hormone therapy,while the observation group was treated with dexamethasone shock thera-py.The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the changes in sleep quality before and after intervention be-tween the two groups of patients,to compare the treatment effectiveness after intervention,and to compare the platelet parameters,immune function,and complications of the two groups of patients.Results:After treatment,the total effective rate of the observa-tion group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the PSQI score of sleep quality in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);The immune function indicators of the observation group,including regulatory B cells(Breg),leukocyte differentiation antigen 40 ligand(CD40L),and leukocyte differentiation antigen 4 positive and leukocyte differentiation antigen 25 positive regulatory T cells(CD4+CD25+Treg),were significantly higher than those of the control group.The levels of leukocyte-associated immunoglobulin-like receptor-l(LAIR-1)were significantly lower than those of the control group,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);after intervention,platelet-associated immunoglobulin G(PAIgG)and platelet associated im-munoglobulin M(PAIgM)were significantly lower than the control group,and platelet count(PLT)was significantly higher than the control group.The differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no statistically sig-nificant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).Conclusion:After dexametha-sone shock therapy,ITP patients can significantly improve their sleep quality,have significant therapeutic effects,effectively im-prove platelet parameters,and have high safety,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
