Study on the Effect of Modified Danggui Sini Tang Combined with Western Medicine on Improving Sleep Quality in Patients with Heart Failure(Heart and Kidney Yang Deficiency Syndrome)
Objective:To comprehensively analyze the therapeutic effect and sleep quality of modified Danggui Sini Tang com-bined with Western medicine in patients with heart failure(heart and kidney yang deficiency syndrome).Methods:A total of 90 patients with heart failure(heart and kidney yang deficiency syndrome)admitted to the Second Hospital of Changle District,Fuzhou City from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the study subjects.Using a random number table method,they were randomly divided into control and observation groups,with 45 cases in each group.The control group was treated with West-ern medicine,while the observation group was treated with modified Danggui Sini Tang in combination with the control group.The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to evaluate the sleep quality of two groups of patients,compare the occurrence of adverse reactions,and compare the polysomnography(PSG)indicators of the two groups,including total sleep time(TST),sleep efficiency(SE),wakefulness after sleep(WASO),Delta sleep ratio(DSR),and rapid eye movement(REM)latency.Results:Af-ter treatment,the PSQI score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group.The TST,SE,DSR,WASO,and REM latency were higher in the observation group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:In patients with heart and kidney yang deficiency and heart failure,the use of modified Danggui Sini Tang combined with Western medicine treatment has significant value.It can effectively improve the patient's sleep quality,prevent ad-verse reactions,and thus improve the overall prognosis level,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
