Objective:To analyze the effect of ear acupoint pressure technique on the psychological state and sleep quality of gas-tric cancer patients. Methods:A total of 80 gastric cancer patients admitted to Fujian Cancer Hospital from January 2022 to Janu-ary 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into observation and control groups using a random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received general nursing intervention, while the observation group received ear acupoint pressure nursing intervention based on the control group. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the differences in sleep quality between two groups of patients, and the Behavioral Checklist(CBCL)was used to assess the psychological status of the two groups of patients. Results:After intervention, the anxiety, withdrawal, and de-pression scores on the CBCL scale in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the PSQI score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Adding ear acupoint pressing techniques based on routine intervention can effec-tively improve gastric cancer patients'psychological state and sleep quality, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
