Objective:To analyze the effect of Gu Bi Tang combined with Long Dan Xie Gan Tang on improving perioperative sleep quality in orthopedic patients.Methods:A total of 100 perioperative patients admitted to the Minqin County Traditional Chi-nese Medicine Hospital surgery department in Wuwei City,Gansu Province,from July 2021 to June 2023,were selected as the re-search subjects.Using a random number table method,they were randomly divided into control and observation groups,with 50 ca-ses in each group.The control group received routine nursing intervention,while the observation group received a combination of Gu Bi Tang and Long Dan Xie Gan Tang treatment based on the control group.The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the differences in sleep quality between two groups of patients.The Self self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)were used to compare the improvement of anxiety and depression symptoms in the two groups of patients,and the nursing satisfaction of the two groups of patients was compared.Results:After intervention,the PSQI score,SDS score,and SAS score of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group,and the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group.The difference between the two groups was statisti-cally significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Gubi Tang and Longdan Xiegan Tang can effectively improve the sleep quality of orthopedic patients during the perioperative period,reduce pain and anxiety,and improve patients'quality of life.It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
