Objective:To explore the effect of the combination of empowerment education and follow-up intervention on sleep dis-orders in senile dementia patients.Methods:A total of 94 elderly dementia patients were included,Time:January 2022 to Novem-ber 2023,with 47 cases in each group,Simply randomized into a control group and an observation group,each consisting of 47 ca-ses,Control group:Empowerment education,observation group:Empowerment education follow-up intervention.The sleep quality[Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)],family care[Family Care Index(APGAR)],and daily living ability[Activities of Daily Living(ADL)]were compared between the two groups.Results:Before intervention,the comparison of PSQI scores between the two groups was P>0.05;after intervention,compared between groups,the observation group scored higher(P<0.05);Before intervention,the family care index and ADL score were compared between groups(P>0.05);after intervention,the observation group had higher scores(P<0.05).Conclusion:Empowerment education combined with tracking interventions can better im-prove sleep quality,increase family care,and enhance daily living abilities for elderly dementia patients.
