Exploring the Impact of the Concept of Gentle Delivery Combined with Non-invasive and Unprotected Perineal Delivery Techniques on Postpartum Sleep in Primiparous Women
Objective:To explore the effect of gentle delivery combined with non-invasive and unprotected perineal delivery tech-nology on postpartum sleep in primiparous women.Methods:A total of 90 primiparous women admitted to the Fifth Hospital of Xiamen City,Fujian Province from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly di-vided into control and observation groups using a random number table method,with 45 cases in each group.The control group re-ceived routine midwifery combined with non-invasive and unprotected perineal delivery technology nursing intervention.In con-trast,the observation group received a gentle delivery concept combined with non-invasive and unprotected perineal delivery tech-nology nursing intervention.Visual Analog Scale(VAS)was used to compare the pain perception of two groups of patients.The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the changes in sleep quality before and after intervention,and the nursing satisfaction and pregnancy outcomes of the two groups of patients were compared.Results:After intervention,the pain VAS score,PSQI score,labor process time,and postpartum bleeding volume of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group,and the PSQI score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05);The overall satisfaction rate of nursing in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the differ-ence between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The concept of gentle delivery combined with non-invasive and unprotected perineal delivery technology can help alleviate labor pain in primiparous women,promote smooth de-livery,improve pregnancy outcomes,improve postpartum sleep quality,and enhance nursing satisfaction.It is worth promoting and applying in clinical practice.
