Objective:To explore the effect of a focused solution model on postpartum adverse emotions, sleep quality, and lacta-tion in postpartum women. Methods:A total of 76 postpartum women admitted to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into control and observation groups using a random number table method, with 38 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the observation group received focused problem-solving nursing interven-tion.The fatigue assessment instrument(FAI)was used to evaluate the fatigue level of two groups of patients. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the sleep quality of the two groups of patients. The subjective well-being scale was used to evaluate the happiness score of the two groups of patients before and after intervention, and the lactation initiation time, earliest feeding time, and 48-hour lactation volume of the two groups of patients were compared. Results:After intervention, the FAI score and PSQI score of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the subjective well-being scale score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group. The lactation initiation time and earliest feeding time of the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group, and the lactation volume at 48 hours was significantly higher than that of the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Focused problem-solving nursing interventions for postpartum women can effectively improve their nega-tive emotions and sleep quality, enhance lactation efficiency, and are worthy of promotion and application.
