Objective:To analyze the impact of behavior change theory health guidance nursing on the psychological burden and sleep quality of lymphoma patients. Methods:A total of 80 lymphoma patients diagnosed through pathological examination admit-ted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research subjects.Using a random number table method, they were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 40 cases in each group. Both groups were given comprehensive treatment:the control group received routine health education and nursing interven-tion,while the observation group received behavior change theory health guidance nursing intervention. Before nursing and one week after, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the differences in sleep quality between two groups of patients. The Self Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS)were used to compare the improvement of anxiety and depression symptoms in the two groups of patients, and the sleep status of the two groups of patients was monitored. Results:After intervention, the SAS score,SDS score, and PSQI score of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group. The sleep duration and efficiency of the observation group after nursing were substantially higher than those of the control group. The awakening time of the observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Conducting behavior change theory health guidance nursing in the clinical treatment of lymphoma patients can effectively reduce their psychological burden,al-leviate negative emotions, and improve sleep quality, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
