Objective:To analyze the effect of cognitive behavioral intervention under the family contract model on the sleep qual-ity of patients with hypertension(HBP)combined with insomnia. Methods:A total of 152 community hypertensive patients with insomnia admitted to the Physical Examination Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Shihezi University from July 2021 to July 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and a control group, with 76 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the observation group received cogni-tive behavioral intervention under family contract mode. Both groups of patients received continuous intervention for 8 weeks. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare the differences in sleep quality between two groups of patients. The Epworth Sleepiness Scale(ESS)was used to compare the changes in sleep quality between the two groups of patients before and after intervention, and blood pressure changes were compared between the two groups of patients. Results:After 8 weeks of inter-vention,the average systolic blood pressure at 24 hours, average diastolic blood pressure at 24 hours, standard deviation of systolic blood pressure at 24 hours, and standard deviation of diastolic blood pressure at 24 hours in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);after 8 weeks of intervention, the PSQI score and ESS score of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Cognitive behavioral intervention under the family contract model can significantly improve blood pressure and sleep quality in community HBP patients with insomnia, and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
