Objective:To analyze the effects of cultural care combined with psychological intervention on anxiety,depression,and sleep status in maintenance hemodialysis patients.Methods:A total of 86 patients with end-stage renal disease(ESRD)who un-derwent maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)and were admitted to the First Hospital of Quanzhou City,Fujian Province,from Octo-ber 2022 to December 2023,were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into observation and control groups using a random number table method,with 43 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing intervention,while the observation group received psychological nursing intervention in addition to the control group.The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality In-dex(PSQI)was used to compare the differences in sleep quality between two groups of patients.The Self Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS)were used to compare the improvement of anxiety and depression symptoms in the two groups of patients,and the incidence of sleep disorders was compared between the two groups of patients.Results:After inter-vention,the SAS,SDS,and PSQI scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group,and the incidence of sleep disorders in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group.The differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of humanistic care and psychological nurs-ing intervention can effectively alleviate anxiety and depression in MHD patients,improve sleep disorders,and enhance sleep qual-ity,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
